New Graphics and Icons from VMware - anything missing?

Library VMware Icons and Diagrams

Anything missing from this good looking set?

Do you have any other graphics and icons you use - want to share that resource with the VIOPS community?

The artwork quality is very impressive. From my perspective I see nothing missing and it's good to have a refresh of icons in light of the new technologies / brand renaming. Hopefully we'll get an update set for ESX 4 aka internally as vSphere? Assuming of course the vSphere brand name gets past the impending copyright query with Surface Optics Corporation

GOLD GOLD GOLD. These are fantastic. I have already distributed to our staff.

Now all that needs to be done is for some Visio objects.

Hey Rodos.. it seems quite easy to copy and paste these icons into visio, then to drag them into a new stencil... is that all that is required for these? Or are you and others expecting more than that from a stencil?

Vector based so the resize well and good anchor points pre applied.

Hey Steve-

These are Great! I did think of some other things.... Can we get some decent diagrams depicting Virtual Switch Tagging, External Switch Tagging and Guest Tagging?

Hi Dave, I forwarded your request to the graphics team - I'll see what they come back with, though I know there's an additional bunch due in March - I'll try to see what that "bunch" is...

I use them for Plan & Design engagements mostly. I have also used earlier versions for things like presentations at VMUG meetings. I also used some things for the VMworld 2008 session that I presented.

I have been using Gavin's xtravirt visio stencils for a while, not sure if you still have to pay for those.

These are also great, will come in very handy.

Steve,

These stencils are great, but I did notice one thing missing that I would like to use: the "Build your Own" stencil set is missing a flat "host" stencil. For example, look at the "Virtualized Servers - DIY" stencil. The host at the bottom of that stencil is not included as a stand-alone stencil.

@Damian - I'll ping Gavin to see if he's up for syndicating his stuff onto VIOPS

I've also asked the graphics if there are any goodies due this/next month.
